Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
The reflected images are really super.
Love this, Sharon. Adore Venice of course and you show Burano so well in this photograph.
I have been to Siena, not to Venice. This is totally gorgeous, Sharon. Both versions. And you hve wonderful light (afternoon, I am guessig).I like these two shots very much.
Burano was a fishing village, and they told us that the fishermen would paint their houses with the same paint that they used for the hulls on their fishing boats. It impressed me that the working class families of Burano lacked the money for the fancy architecture of the pallazzos of the main part of Venice, yet with a little paint they have made relatively simple architecture very appealing.
these images are pretty spectacular, too.
Terrific shots, the reflections are superb! You could only love Burano. :-)
Taht top photo should be framed. Love both, esp the colors and reflections. Great job!!
Oh, very strong image.
Amazing shots! Stunning color and reflections.Sharon, I so enjoyed your Arizona road trip and also catching up with your last weeks posts!
gorgeous. i love the first photo. welcome home.
This would be a plain building if not for the bright paint. The lighting was perfect for capturing the colors and reflection.
Terrific shots, reflections and colors, well done, Sharon!
Yowza Venice is on my bucket list. can't wait to see all your photos!
