Black Chandelier

My hair salon has added something new, a black chandelier!  I don't think I've ever seen one in black before.  I like it.

Here I am sitting in the chair and snapping a quick photo of the new decor as reflected in the mirror in front of me.

Interesting decor for a salon.

Is it made of iron? I think it was the art nouveau period when a lot of design was done in iron including chandeliers

Unusual but really quite beautiful. Good Friday the 13th post.

The second photo lightens the tone seeing you doing your photographic "duties."

It seems black chandeliers are very fashionable now. I've seen red ones too. This one is just great!

A Gothic chandelier hey Saharon, nice fitting for a hairdressing salon. Love that you're sitting having your hair done and taking pics!! Have a great weekend.

Now that is not something you see everyday. Love it!

It is a bit unusual, but very classy too. Glad you were getting spoiled at the saloon...oh, I mean salon. :)
Happy Friday!

Fancy looking light and it goes well with that high ceiling.

Black and allsorts of other colours are quite the rage here, especially in... bakeries of all places! This is very cool!

I like it too...goes good with the yellow/gold walls, etc. And it's got an attitude...it says, "Hey, if you don't like me, tough! I know I'm good!"

Always good to have that camera handy!

I have seen black chandeliers in lighting stores when we were shopping for a new place, but I don't think I have seen one in actual use.

Gee, we can almost see you . . .

You are a true photographer! Camera in hand even at the salon....I do like that chandelier, very French looking.
