When I went to the Desert Botanical Garden on Thursday evening, I arrived at 5:30 and walked around the garden before having some dinner at the restaurant. That way, I got to see the wildflower garden during the golden hour before I went for the after-dark stroll to see the lights. In between, I got to enjoy a delicious meal.
The Wildflower Garden was overflowing with these pretty flowers. I believe they are Doubtful Knight's Spur but there was no sign to confirm that.
The occasional coneflower was popping up among the purple, white and pink to add a splash of yellow in the background.

Such a treasure to have nearby
The Tom Petty song..."You Belong Among the Wildflowers."
I love the intense colours, Sharon.
That Knight's Spur is not a flower I know. Apparently it's a relative of Delphiniums, and it's also poisonous. (Presumably only if you eat it!)
Such vastly different wildflowers to here in Western Australia. They are so delicate and pretty. Beautiful show.
Loving their colours, so appropriate for Spring, have a great week.
