I just love the big ficus trees that are scattered all around the old part of Town and Country Shopping Center in Phoenix. I stopped to get a photo of this on when I was on my way to Pizzaria Bianco just on the other side of the tree. I featured this pizza place way back in 2008 when it had been named "Best Pizza in the U.S". Back in those days, they only had the one location. Now they have several. This one happens to be the closest to me.
It takes a lot of wood to keep those wood-fired ovens pumping out pizzas all day long.

Wood fire pizza is definitely the best.
It must be hot working in front of a wood fired oven, in the desert.
That is a fabulous tree. I have a ficus in my living room that is large but nothing like that one.
How that's an impressive tree! I've often wished I lived in a place warm enough to plant out my ficus. I used to see huge ones in South Florida.
