When I was in Chicago this last September, I had lunch one day at the restaurant in Neiman Marcus. That's where I found this Santa with his arms wrapped around a decorated tree. I thought it was an unusual decoration idea so I snapped a photo. I also thought that September was way too early to even have Christmas decorations on display but, as you can see in the background, there were plenty of holiday decorations to be found.
Recently I visited the Neiman Marcus store in Scottsdale and I found a similar tree hugging Santa here in the desert southwest.
A little tree hugging is a good thing.

Funny how they both had the Santa-hugging-a-tree thing going on. I agree, September is too early!
