The desert is bursting with color right now. I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden yesterday and captured photos of some of the colorful blooms on display. Above is a Palo Verde tree full of tiny yellow blooms and it is partially shading a prickly pear cactus with lots of orange blooms.

Another prickly pear bloom....this time in pink.

To the left some yellow prickly pear blooms.
The one above is a Biznaga Dorada cactus, a type of barrel cactus. It's crowned with a ring of yellow blooms.
To the right, a close-up of some of those orange prickly pear blooms.
Lots of wonderful color to enjoy!
