Sometimes I see plants as artistic objects that I can photograph in a way that makes them look different from their normal viewpoint. When I saw this prickly pear cactus in front of the fanned out branches of an aloe plant, I thought it made a great frame for the cactus.
I like this pot full of small plants. I'm not sure what they are but they looked great all clustered together in that pot.
The photo to the left was taken in Scottsdale. I just liked the way the vine-like plant was climbing up that decorative concrete wall.
I enjoy looking at nature from a different point of view.
The one and only time I was Phoenix it was the cactus that caught my attention.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, time for my walk
ReplyDeleteThese remind me of warmer times. It is cold here today.
ReplyDeleteAnd you do it so well Sharon, your first shot is fabulous 💜
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and very pretty. Our cactus has just started to bloom.
ReplyDeleteWow! The first picture is awesome. Like a queen.
ReplyDeleteTio photo is a winner.
ReplyDeleteNice! There's a whole genre of photography (here in England anyway) that focuses on the garden. These are great examples!
ReplyDeleteSome really wonderful forms.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully taken!
ReplyDeleteSuch good vision. The first and third really get my attention.
ReplyDeleteThese photos brighten my day. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Sharon, specially like the first one.
ReplyDeleteNot too sure but the second one looks like a succulent called "chalksticks".
Fantastic photos Sharon.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I love cacti and succulents, they are so weird and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAll wonderful, especially the prickly pear cactus.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great eye. My favorites are the 1st photo - it looks awesome the way you got that aloe in the background - and I absolutely love the bright yellow leaf background on the 3rd photo. Outstanding!
ReplyDeleteOh! It's a snail! It looked like a leaf to me! LOL
