In addition to the blooming Jacarandas I featured on Sunday, the Palo Verde trees are also in full bloom. Above is a close up of those pretty yellow blooms.
Since the palo verde tree is very prominent in our state, we are seeing yellow everywhere we look.
I saw these last weekend in front of a home in one of our historic neighborhoods.
And, this one was in front of one of the Phoenix Financial Center buildings.
They are looking very pretty these days!
The yellow brightens everything up!
ReplyDeletePhoenix in yellow is looking good.
ReplyDeleteYellow has been my favourite colour in the last few years.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures.
Yellow seems to suit spring so well, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteNice! Those flowers look sort of azalea-like in closeup.
ReplyDeleteLook especially nice against that blue sky.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful to see all that yellow.
ReplyDeleteSuch a happy colour Sharon. Looks like a smallish tree, perfect for a garden 🌻 Don't think my back would appreciate me planting another tree right at this moment 😉
ReplyDeleteWonderful tones of yellow, Sharon !
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Palo Verde trees but I don't think I've ever seen a close up of the blooms. They're really beautiful and you've caught some nice pix of them. I especially like how it looks at the Phoenix Financial Center.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
