The State Tree of Arizona

The state tree of Arizona is the Palo Verde tree and it's showing off all it's spring time beauty right now.  Gorgeous yellow blooms are everywhere you look.

These trees grow in all parts of the Phoenix area so if you happen to be in the area, you can't miss them.

They start blooming in mid-to-late March and will continue through April.  I love seeing them wherever I look.

I didn't know this spectacular tree!

They are nice. They remind me of tabebuia trees, which I used to see in Florida all the time.

Yellow is such a refreshing color - the color of new beginnings! Love that first photo...it looks like some giant lizard is tracking the flowers!
