When I was at the zoo last week and managed to get a pretty good shot of the gorgeous bald eagle. Such a handsome and regal looking bird. If I am remembering correctly, I've only seen one of these magnificent birds in the wild and of course I wasn't quick enough to take a photo.
So beautiful, this one is not so fierce looking but still so impressive!

ReplyDeleteThat is a terrific photograph. These are majestic birds. We have some in Florida. In fact, one flew right over my head on a golf course a year or so ago. They are very tough, though. Don't get one mad at you! :)

ReplyDeleteI see eagles occasionally down here in Naples, including around the golf course where I live. The oddest sighting was in the parking lot of a very busy grocery store!!!
Excellent shot Sharon, what a fearsome predator he is! Like Jack I have also spotted eagles in the most unusual places.

ReplyDeleteGreat composition and super-sharp. We get bald eagles here in January and February. They congregate along the Mississippi ans Illinois Rivers north of Alton.
