Duck Dynasty
Good friends from Chicago were in town last weekend and I met them for lunch at one the restaurants in my area that I can walk to so, I did just that and walked over to meet them. On the way I pass the lake on Camelback Road that is part of the business complex and the Arizona Biltmore Golf Course. It happened to be just full of ducks so I stopped to snap a few photos. They were all swimming together in one direction.
This little one made me smile. She was way behind the crowd all by herself. That would be me. I'm always the one lagging behind on every tour. I can't tell you the number of times a tour guide or group leader has said to me "please try to keep up with the group". Has it worked? Hardly ever!
Better than the television show by a longshot!
ReplyDeleteThey look happy together. It's always nice to find them in a group.

Love the pics AND the story Sharon :) Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteNever seen so many ducks all together, nice pics !
ReplyDeleteIn Burma I saw some men on boats guiding their many swimming ducks like a shepard does to sheep. What a lovely capture, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteLindo e belas fotografias.

Very funny, Sharon! And I hope you never give in to crabby guides who often are more concerned with getting the tour over than with providing as much info as possible.
ReplyDeleteQuite a crowd!
ReplyDeleteIs it a demonstration?
ReplyDeleteI'm with the little one!
ReplyDeleteI think you and I would make good companions on a tour. I have a hard time keeping up too! I can never understand why they have to walk so fast!
ReplyDeleteThere is much to be said for marching to the beat of a different drummer. I have no problem staying up with a group, but if I want to wander off, I wander off.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch!
ReplyDeleteTo stay a little bit behind always improve the pictures too!
