Make that Gelato instead! It certainly is the season for this tasty treat. That's not to say that I don't enjoy it all year round, it just seems to fit this hot weather the best. I stopped at the local "Frost" (I featured them in a previous post
here) store to enjoy a dish of hazelnut-chocolate gelato. Yum, it was delicious and refreshing.
A very refreshing image... and treat!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Looks so good...its raining here but I can still drool over the Gelato :)
ReplyDeleteWould you believe that throughout my sheltered life I've never tasted Gelato? It's true. Now, this looks good enough to eat, so I may have to remedy the situation! Soon!
ReplyDeleteAbout once a year I crave an ice cream or a frozen yogurt. I think I've had gelato once. Chocolate is definitely a good choice when that craving comes around.
ReplyDeleteI think that I would stop there quite often if that gelato is typical of what they serve!
ReplyDeleteOh, that looks delicious! (And yes, chocolate is the way to go.)
ReplyDeleteI'll also take one !
ReplyDeleteLooks like chocolate to me. Yes! Yum! Cooling down here.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Sharon, every season is ice-cream season :)
ReplyDeleteBetter be quick, Gelato melts fast. I'll take the raspberry swirl.
ReplyDeleteThat looks much too delicious!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the info and the advice, Sharon. And I intend to try some at our next grocery outing!
ReplyDeleteIt is always season for a grlato, even more in summer. By the way I love chocolate!
ReplyDeleteThat flavour sounds good to me! I never crave frozen desserts in winter but love them in the summer!
ReplyDeleteOkay! You convinced me to give gelato a try. There is a new venue here in Coventry that has just opened. I'm going to pay them a visit :).
ReplyDeleteThat sounds sooooooo good! Hazelnut is my favourite ice-cream!!
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I have become addicted to "Death by Chocolate" ice cream. If you like chocolate, it is special.
ReplyDeleteI am too embarrassed to comment on my ice cream/gelato consumption.
ReplyDeleteOh you tease. I love the Gelato Spot, isn't that close to you too?
