There is a point on the light rail at Camelback Road and Central Avenue where the rail line takes a turn to the west. I caught this train making that turn across traffic. you can see all the cars lined up at the stop light. There is a huge park and ride station here that I have used quite often when I'm heading downtown using the light rail.
Nice shot. Never knew Phoenix has light rail transit.
ReplyDeleteThe gleaming train winding across the traffic makes for a great shot!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful light here, and I like the train.
ReplyDeleteLike the color in your photo today. Rich pastel.
ReplyDeleteIt's so good to see public transportation improving in most places, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI remember the great day we had in Phoenix with you, when we rode it to downtown. Lots of pictures got taken that day.
ReplyDeleteI loved the light rail. I've only ridden it once though.
ReplyDeleteYou were in the right place at the right time to get this shot.
ReplyDeleteI love taking the tram. I don't know why, but it's fun!
ReplyDeleteLovely light!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize the Bank of Montreal had expanded into the US.
Perfect timing with this shot! I agree with everyone else about the light. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice capture Sharon.. it's only now that I'm appreciating our rail system, so quick and easy to get into the city.
ReplyDeleteI need to come back and ride one of those.
ReplyDeleteHow great that Phoenix has light rail! My hometown, Tampa, has resolutely resisted rail transportation for years. It's such a shame.
ReplyDeleteFor a large machine, it is snaking its way around the curve quite gracefully.
