I spotted this big cloud hanging over the top of Camelback Mountain so I drove to the top of the parking garage at Biltmore Fashion Park to get a photo of it. At first I didn't like those light poles in the way but, I kind of like they way they lead the eye toward the mountain.
I love puffy clouds in landscapes. Lovely image!

I agree with your perspective on the framing of this photo.
ReplyDeleteI once went to the roof of the parking garage at Scottsdale Fashions Square to get photos, and a security guard said taking photos was not allowed.
I agree also Sharon, they're a bit like a runway strip :) Camelback Mountain is rather impressive under the canopy of clouds.. well spotted!
ReplyDeleteI agree. The poles add to this image.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great view!
ReplyDeleteI agree too! Great shot, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteI want to climb the mountain!
ReplyDeletePerfect spot for that shot.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Makes for a pretty cool photo. It also says something about what man has done to the desert.
ReplyDeleteIt is less and less allowed to take pictures from the top of buildings...
ReplyDeletePerfect pic.
That mountain is perfectly named!
ReplyDeleteNice clous, but I like much more the mountain!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sky with perfect clouds!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think the light poles work. It's funny how sometimes a photographic element that initially seems negative can be made into a nice part of the picture.
ReplyDelete(I should say it's the photographer's TALENT that makes that happen!)
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct about the light poles. Interesting how one's photographic judgment changes after a photo is taken, isn't it?
