Lego Construction

Above is one of the interactive attractions at the Lego Exhibit at the Heard Museum.  Those fancy tire wells were made of Lego blocks and on the other side was a seat and steering wheel so that kids could sit there as if driving that at car.  A perfect photo spot.

I was impressed by these two exhibits.  The top one is called Bicycle Triumphs Traffic created by Sean Kenney.  The one below is called Captain America and it was created by Nathan Sawaya.

I'll show you some more creations tomorrow.

  2. My son (now 28) would love this visit. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm still finding legos, it seems. We had so much fun putting the kits together. I so remember the 'pirate ship'.

  6. Wow! I am surprised that these things can be made of those little blocks that I used to step on, barefoot back in the day.

  7. Who would have thought years ago when Legos were first introduced that they would lead to such fantastic creations. I would love that exhibit!
