Triple Gables

I found two houses in the same Historic Neighborhood with three gables on the front of them.  At first I thought that the builder from that era must have built two similar houses but, they really do have two distinctive looks about them.

I like the look of both of them but, I think I like the porch on the first one the best.

I prefer the first one. Even the landscape is better.

Hawthorne and his 7 gables is still up on this place. Ever been to Salem MA and seen the house?

I agree with you, the top one is my favourite.

I love the roof line of the 1st one but there is something very pleasing about the proportions in that 2nd one!
The grounds at Osgoode Hall are very much like the squares in London - peace in the middle of chaos.

They are both great places to sit and relax!

Touches like that always add so much interest to a house and make it stand out from the rest.
