What a game!
I went to the Phoenix Suns game Thursday night with my friend Janet and what a game it was. We played the Oklahoma City Thunder, the western conference leader in a game that came right down to the last minute. With 3:45 minutes left in the third quarter, OC was ahead 96 to 80. But, the Sun's came alive suddenly gave us a real on-your-feet show down. They came within one three-point shot of meeting the franchise record for 3-pointers. In fact, the the three-point scoreboard shown above, was completely filled. I've never seen that before.
As usual, the Sun's brought out the T-shirt launching gatling gun during one of the time outs. That kept the crowd on their feet.
And, three of the Sun's dancers were sitting on the sidelines shaking their pom-pons and enjoying all the excitement.
Sounds like an exciting game, love the 'gatling gun'!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a game that closes as this one did!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous trio!
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a good game. Those girls don't look all that excited about it but they do look pretty.
ReplyDeleteTerrific shots!
ReplyDeleteIt shows you how much attention I pay to the NBA... I had no idea Oklahoma City has a team.
I used to love sitting in those suites.
ReplyDeleteYup! I would have gone just to see those girls.
ReplyDeleteAnd, hey, I heard the other day that the Suns play-by-play legend Al McCoy is 80 years old and still going strong.
Somehow I've never gotten into basketball although I really like sports. I'll have t go to a game and feel the excitement!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good game to see. And, aren't these cheerleaders young? Or am I old?
