I've been very remiss in my photography duties the past few weeks and I haven't been out getting any holiday shots. I met David for dinner earlier this week and when I spotted these lights in front of the Esplanade Center I decided I should snap a photo. Wrapping mesquite and palm trees in lights is a familiar theme in these parts but, they always look pretty.
I'll search out a some more holiday decorations before the big day arrives!
Wow! What a view from those windows!! Such a simple idea, but it looks GREAT!
ReplyDeleteI confess I have taken very few as well
ReplyDeleteThey work a treat, very festive!
ReplyDeleteHoliday lights at night during this season are always a delight to see.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been out much either. This one turned out nice.
ReplyDeleteIt does look lovely, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI've been doing quite a bit of that... I've got one more location to take pics at during early evening, and I also need to go up to another spot for a New Year's Eve post before I leave town for the holidays.
They look very festive!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the sight of these wrapped-light trees, so festive and holiday-perfect:)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to get out much either, Sharon! It's such a busy time of year.
ReplyDeleteVery Christmasy.I'm wondering where you went for dinner.
ReplyDeleteI love the lights wrapped around trees like this...makes for a bright and cheerful sight.
ReplyDeleteSouthwest Florida also wraps the trees like this. Have a very merry Christmas, Sharon. I know that the year-end can be an extremely busy time for many people, especially those who work. Relax!
ReplyDeleteYou could always shoot the Poinsettia tree at the Biltmore for your Christmas shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely night shot!
