Nice composition. It is no wonder that the chairs are empty. Even with the umbrella providing shade, with the current high temperatures everyone would prefer to eat inside.
This is a great shot. I love the green against the bricks and then the vintage bike as well. It's way too hot to sit outside right now though. Might have to go back and enjoy this place when the weather cools down.
I like the calmness and balance of the picture very much. I know from experience that it's not an easy kind of shot to accomplish.
ReplyDeletethis just humms summer.

ReplyDeleteThis works!
ReplyDeleteI would have got up close and did just umbrella and bricks. Think about it?
The color of the bricks and the umbrella compliment each other. I like that the bike is green too.

ReplyDeleteI sure the bike stopped because it recognize itself in the table set! :-)
ReplyDeleteEverything is green, the umbrella, the chairs and even the bicycle, what a coincidence!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition, Sharon!
The bike adds that certain ambience!
ReplyDeleteThis tells me you've become an accomplished photographer - it's perfectly composed, filled with interest, fantastic colors, and sharp as a tack!
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of shot I try to emulate and so often fail. You got it right!
In my family, this is what we call Susie Green. Medium moss or sage green with a touch of gray.
ReplyDeleteNice Spring color.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely green indeed and the contrast to the brick wall is great.
ReplyDeleteThis is one case where it really is 'easy being green' Sharon, love the vintage bike an inspired touch oui!
