Lunch Time Challenge #2

I drove over to the food court at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Shopping Center for lunch on Tuesday and noticed that this lady and her child are still sitting here by the fountain.  This bronze sculpture has been at the base of the escalators for many years now and it makes a pleasant piece of art work for a mall location.  There is no plaque or sign to tell me who created it though.

The food court at the mall gets quite busy at lunch time.  I'll find a quieter place for tomorrows lunch adventure.

Love that sculpture! And the ambiance of the mall...food courts get mighty noisy. I think "they" do that purposely, to keep people moving. They want you to eat and continue shopping!

My favorite mall! Thanks I needed a fix.

That is a nice sculpture. The place is hopping with people! I don't think that would be a very relaxing place to go for lunch.

Just a woman and child resting so as to get to all the stores they've missed. Nice!

They do make a lovely pair. It's a shame they don't acknowledge who the artist is. Food court...usually means Panda Express for me. :)

It looks a lot like a Seward Johnson sculpture. He has a lot of outdoors figures around the country, and the finishing of the woman and girl look like the ones I have seen.
