Speaking of Bugs
In contrast to yesterday's giant ants, this colorful grasshopper was also lurking about at the Desert Botanical Garden. His size isn't as intimidating as the giant variety. However, if he had jumped on me, I'm sure I would have jumped myself.
Me too Sharon, not because he's scary, just because he's a bug haha! He does look very pretty chomping on that red plant. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThats a big grasshopper - I like the red against the green.
ReplyDeleteIf they had giant grasshoppers in the same scale as yesterday's giant ants, that would be even scarier.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color on this with the red and green.
ReplyDeleteHa...and maybe screamed a little? They spit, you know. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteTerrific colors in this shot. These critters do jump on you once in awhile and it is an unsettling experience even though they don't hurt you!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Nice red plant and the focus is so good that I can see his funny little feet.
ReplyDeleteWonderful red plant indeed. That grasshopper looks so green next to the red.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked grasshoppers for some reason!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I would have jumped too!
ReplyDeleteNice close up. It really stands out on that leaf.
ReplyDeleteGreen on red! Well spoted, Sharon, it's an awesome image.
