While exploring the industrial side of Phoenix, I spotted this rather unique liquor store. I'm guessing that years ago, this building might have had another purpose. For some reason, it makes me think of a root beer stand or and ice cream store. Maybe when I was a kid, I saw a similar building that served that purpose.

Unusual it is. You will have to go in there one day and ask if they know what the building was used for originally.
Yes, I remember a building in Pennsylvania in the shape of a boot where we went for ice cream when I was a little girl.
I may be waaaay off but bank is what comes to my mind.
Drive-thru liquor. Let's hope that the people who do not get out of their car to buy liquor will get out of their car before they drink liquor.
I wonder if it was something different before.
Interesting, I have no clue what it might have been
Unique for sure! I've not seen anything quite like it. Looks like there are living quarters up above.
Some years back if you told me that we would be able to drive through a store and buy liquor I would have thought you were crazy. Now they also sell beer in gas stations!
What a world!
P.S. I don't mind the liquor but not while driving!
Unique...hmm that's a good word for this building. Now I'm very curious as to what it used to be.
Sorry, Sharon, but I sure can't tell you what it is.
It does attract the eye. It kind of looks like our M&I Bank building here.
No drinks needed - drive around this place a few times and it would make me dizzy!
Wow that's what you call changing with the times hey Sharon!
It's pretty cool.
