Smelly Cat

Anyone remember that song that Phoebe used to sing on the old “Friends” television show?  That is what popped into my head when I saw this cat one day when I was out taking photos.  I pointed the telephoto lens toward him as he watched me over his shoulder.

I never saw the Friends T show, but I do not blame any animal that looks over his shoulder to keep an eye on you or any other photographer with a telephoto lens.

I was never a fan of the show but I remember the song. Cats are always a little wary and curious too, this is nicely caught. Paul at Leeds daily photo

I thought I was the only person on the planet who didn't watch the show. Now I see I have compadres!

Oh, I don't think he looks at all like the smelly cat of Phoebe's funny little song. But it's a great shot.

I do remember the song Sharon, this little cat is certainly giving you the wide eyed look.

Love that pose! Nicely captured next to that beautiful grass. I bet it's fun for hiding and playing.

What an alert feline, and I love the eyes!!

Big yellow eyes that would give you a start if it was dark outside! Poor little thing, I hope someone loves him or her.

You must have nerves of steel...how do you hold your camera so still when you're using your telephoto lens. I'm in awe. It's a great picture. I love the composition and colors.

He looks a wee bit guilty but I am not sure about the smelly part!

Cats are gods. You must be very careful. I think he's looking deep into your soul to see whether he should zap you or not! Yikes!

Re your comment about the abacus...I don't think I would like someone to tally up my purchase(s) with an abacus because how would I know the total was correct? I'd have to do my own tally with a calculator! :-)
