Happy Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day in Phoenix sees the city ablaze with flowering pear trees. They seem to be everywhere and they are bursting with snowy, white blooms right now.
Sure signs of spring are in the air! What a lovely photo. I haven't been around pear blossoms much. Do they have a nice fragrance? I'm waiting for the orange blossoms.
This would have been the third spring for a pear tree at my house in Phoenix. Now I'm sad I'm not there to see how it's grown ~ and hoping the new owners are taking good care of it!
This is a different type of February white than people are experiencing back East and up North.
ReplyDeleteOh, to even think of flowering pear trees in this bitter New England attic is such a joy. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI envy you so much. Our outdoors is not as attractive; we have mounds of dirty, black snow!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Bees must be really busy.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, our own pear trees won't blossom before another month or so.
