If you watch the sky after a storm, you can find amazing cotton candy clouds.

  4. So beautiful. I think I told you that I took a fantastic sunset photo in Phoenix in 1958 or 1959 from a little motel...it was the first photo like that I'd ever taken...on a little Kodak Retinette with Kodak slide film. I was so proud of that shot - the sky was gorgeous.

    Still have it, somewhere!

  6. The sky in Arizona is unusual in that you can have a severe storm, as we had two afternoons ago, yet just a few moments later, there can be blue skies and puffy clouds, then the desert heat will quickly transform the clouds into thunderstorms again, and then the clouds will quickly disappear.
