More storms roll into the valley yesterday. I saw a lot of heavy rain and wind but, from the news stories parts of the city got it a lot worse than we did. I stopped at a grocery store on my way home and snapped this picture of the wet streets. The good news.....the intense heat we've been having has been washed away. Finally, some fall weather.
You must have been coming home late. There are so few cars to be seen.
ReplyDeleteI saw pics of the hail that hit the valley too. Nice shot Sharon.
ReplyDeleteIt was an amazing storm in Phoenix yesterday. It looks like you were at A.J.'s Market.

ReplyDeleteIt was awesome, wasn't it? I don't know how you get these amazing low light pics without a tripod, but I love seeing them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of photo -- night time and wet. It's really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGlad your heat has abated...ours, too. In the 50's at night and low 80's during the day. That's going to change and warm up again, but it sure is nice while it lasts!
Beautiful evening scene.
ReplyDeleteNice night shot! We are under a tornado watch right now. Strange!
ReplyDeleteGreat rainy photo! We are certainly ready for a change in this HOT weather!
ReplyDeleteWhere in Brasília the storm weather is almost begining. I enjoy taking photos of the storm clouds, sometimes good things come. Hope you enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot - love the reflections you got on the wet pavement.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
ReplyDeleteSend some of that rain to Memphis! We've not had rain in forever.
Nice shot! Very moody with the dark and colored lights.
