Water Feature
The Valley Commerce Center is a central Phoenix office building that has an unusual water feature. The water spreads out in a Y shape as the office building wraps around it. That round building in the center houses a small cafĂ© that is virtually an island within the “pond”. This is where I found a stand of cattails growing. Tomorrow I’ll show more things I saw at this location.

I wonder if the water helps to cool things down.
This would not have been my guess from yesterday's teaser. It's amazing the things one finds in the middle of Phoenix. :)
If this is the building on 7th Street between Central and Highland, I think this is the location of celebrated chef Eddie Matney's restaurant in the 1980's, before he moved to Camelback & 24th, which was before he moved to his current location in Scottsdale at Indian School and Marshall Way.
I would not have guessed this location for cattails
I would have guessed the zoo. I would have been wrong. It's nice to see a little oasis like this in the middle of all the concrete.
I was guessing a park was where you found your cattails! Never would have guessed this spot!
Sharon, you find the most interesting places.
