The minaret of an abandoned mosque I saw in south Phoenix.

I really like this photo...it is so clean and has such a great contrast in lines and material - the squarish minaret vs. the flowering palm; the stucco vs. the tree trunk. All against that beautiful blue sky. Very nice!

Abandoned? Must be the only one in the world. I heard of churches but mosques?

I wonder why the mosque was abandoned. Maybe it moved.
