More of the Performing Arts Center


I was really taken with the rusty metal louver-like siding on the performing arts center I featured yesterday. I took this close up shot to show the panels in more detail.  The photo below is similar but, I thought it might be a bit more interesting in a sepia tone.

I wonder if when it rains water will drip off of the rusty metal and stain the concrete below.

It makes me want to go and visit. Very nice. The panels have certainly something to do with energy.

The randomness of the layers makes it look like cardboard that has gotten wet and is coming apart...I mean that in a good way though. I really like the sepia tone photo.

These buildings are very unusual. I wonder what Frank Lloyd Wright would have to say about these?

It's certainly a dramatic-looking building but I wonder how it will be viewed 40 years from now.
