I don't think these are really gaslights but, they were made to look like it. This was taken at Chateau on Central, a very high end condominium development. This was a development that got caught up in the real estate crisis and sat empty for about two years. It was recently purchased by a new developer who is now selling the units. I walked around here for about 30 minutes and it looked to me like it's still pretty much empty.

I like how you shot this.
Love the pattern of the bricks.
I hope that the new developer does not get caught "holding the bag" so to speak. None of our communities can afford any more bankruptcies. Looks like it would be a great residence.
Wonderful combination and perspective!
I'm with JM about the perspective. Also, the bricks are very orange. Around here, they're redder.
It's such a beautiful complex and in a nice location. I hope they get it occupied.
I like the angle you've used for this shot Sharon looks like it would be a great place to live, hopefully for the developers sake they don't price it out of the market.
I read in the newspaper that they have sold one of the units to the Mayor of Phoenix, who will be leaving office soon. This development is unusual for several reasons. They are zoned to allow and built so that the first floor can be for an office, with living quarters above, and private elevators.
Nice colors and I do like those lamps.
Nicely photographed, Sharon. I like the perspective. The developer used good materials and design, from what we can see here. The lamps look just like the ones we put on the garage at our Florida home. They are electric, with compact fluorescents and photo sensors to turn them on at dusk and off at dawn.
I love lights and glad you found these to display.
From the looks of this wall, I'd guess it would be a very nice place...hopefully, the units will sell. Very nice photo, Sharon!
Nice perspective on this shot. They definitely do look like gas lights to me :)
Arizona never ceases to surprise me! The phoenix area definitely has different types of architectural elements
I love these places. They look like they are built very well with 5 stories and an elevator. I had not noticed how nice these light were until you photographed them. I wish I could afford one.
Lovely! Are they on at night now that they have a new owner?
Yes, I think this calls for a night shot. :)
