This curve-billed thrasher was precariously perched on this cactus and waiting his turn at the watering hole.
He was waiting for these two doves to finish up and fly away. Actually, there was plenty of room for all of them but for some reason he decided he should wait his turn.

ReplyDeleteThere is a pecking order that we don't see. You would think the spines would hurt the feet.

ReplyDeleteDoves seem to have a tendancy to hog the watering spots.
