Here's an interesting mural that I recently spotted. Can you guess what kind of business is in that building? It's a marijuana dispensary. There was no artist signature on this one which I found strange. I usually find signatures on all the newer murals.
Taking part in Monday Murals.
Not with that creepy face...:(
ReplyDeleteVery fitting mural for the business.
ReplyDeleteTime will tell if it is a happy business.
ReplyDeleteI thought pot shop or tattoo shop, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteHa! Well, that's a KIND of happy, I guess. I like the cactus letters. There should be a name for that font! "Desertia," maybe?
ReplyDeleteThe cactus letters are unique. A buzz happy place. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cactus inspired font on that mural. It was the first thing I noticed, not the smoking skull. Lovely find and nice of you to explain it, Sharon.

Thomas “Breeze” Marcus
"Marcus often collaborates with other artists, who have included Lalo Cato"
Yes, the trail of smoke sort of gives it away. And I like the way the artist has incorporated saguaro cactus into his artwork.
ReplyDeleteNeat mural with a positive message.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he/she was very happy !!
ReplyDeleteFunky and good message!

LOL, be happy :) Reminded me of that Bobby McFerrin song "Don't worry, be happy".
ReplyDeleteIt's colourful and attention grabbing, even though I find the skull a bit creepy.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Sharon.
Weird comes to mind.
