The first day of every year, City Daily Photo bloggers post their favorite photo from the last year. I chose this one that I posted back in October. This is one of the butterflies at the Desert Botanical Garden that is very hard to photograph because they move so much. When they are sitting on a flower they seem to always be fluttering their wings. I was lucky to get a photo of this one while it was completely still. Butterflies are such magical creatures. They give us hope for a new and better tomorrow.
