I forgot all about this photo I took on Easter weekend. That was the weekend I went to Tucson on my first road trip after the year long lock down. On the way to Tucson, we made a short stop in the town of Florence Arizona. I always enjoy a little spin around this very western town. I took this photo of a mural I saw on the main street. It appears to depict Florence through the ages from indigenous peoples to settlers to the present. I wasn't sure why the people on the right were dancing around the sun until I took a closer look. The sun is full of words like community, friendship, love and happiness. I guess they are cheering a bright future. I couldn't find an artist's signature on the mural.
Taking part in Monday Murals.
It looks nice!

ReplyDeleteThose dancers are gonna need some sunscreen. :-)
ReplyDeleteFor some strange reason the amazing shadow caught my attention, dancing in the sunlight is always fun
ReplyDeleteIt's very well done.
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter worked at the prison in Florence for some years. Long enough to get vested. She also bought a house but I think it was in Coolidge.
ReplyDeleteYes friendship, love and happiness are well worth celebrating, we need more of them in our world.
ReplyDeletenice one.
