I was looking for a specific address when I saw what looked like onion-domes in the distance. I turned the corner and doubled back to see if I was right. That's how I found the Saints Peter and Paul Eastern Orthodox Church on a quiet, residential street.
What surprised me is that it is located just off of a busy street that I travel on quite often. I never noticed those domes before. I guess I was too busy watching the road and the busy traffic.
I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm doing a little window shopping.
Interesting architecture, sometimes my Someone drives and I see things I never saw before. It is good to keep you eyes on the road.
ReplyDeleteIt is surprising what we sometimes miss. The domes are lovely, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteNice find! Maybe the church is new?
ReplyDeleteThere is always something we have missed...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find, we miss lots of things that we just don't see.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteVery ornate.
ReplyDeleteThere's a church up here that has domes on it too. I had to drive by it and ask some workmen if it was a Muslim temple, only to learn it was part of a Roman Catholic church.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting what you will find if you just take the time to look. Very good photos.
ReplyDeleteYou often find Orthodox churches in the most unexpected places Sharon, it's happened to me here in Perth also ✨
ReplyDeleteNice and quiet find. Every day has its own reasons.
ReplyDeleteVery nice architecture
