My "mirror" image is a bit different. This photo dates back to 2015 when I used it as my piece for my Art Challenge group. The challenge was "the boys of summer" and I will admit to you that I had no idea what that meant. It wasn't until a friend said something to the effect of "oh good, I love baseball" that I figured it out. Not being a baseball fan myself, I instead found this sheet of scrap book paper printed with baseballs and photographed a polished spoon sitting on the paper and reflecting the print. Mirrors come in many forms, don't they?

Looks good to me.
ReplyDeleteA tricky way to take the photo but well worth it. You get a homerun for this shot. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the photo! Wasn't "The Boys of Summer" a Don Henley song? As I recall the video showed people on a beach, not at a baseball game, so I wouldn't have known what that meant either!
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the "mirror" meme, very creative Sharon :)
ReplyDeleteMany years ago, there was a website called "The Mirror Project" that published contributors photos that included a reflection of the photographer. I contributed several times. The project was privately run, and ended when reportedly someone "dropped" the server, really accidentally dropped it. The last time I checked, part of the archive was back on line.
ReplyDeleteThat is so good, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteA very interesting photograph, Sharon. You did well.
ReplyDeleteThat's creative, and a single game does go through a lot of baseballs.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a wonderful creative mirror image. Nice one, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteGood one.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do Sharon and this is definitely the most creative shot I've seen so far 💙
ReplyDeleteVery creative!
ReplyDeleteVery arty!
ReplyDeleteOh, good work. But, not a fan of baseball? Horrors!
ReplyDeleteClever use of the mirror with the baseball design. It looks really cool.
