Sights on My Early Morning Walks

Since our excessive heat has made a way too early appearance, I've switched my afternoon walks to early morning walks while the temperatures are still pleasant.  Consequently, I've been seeing a whole different group of walkers and a lot of different activities.

In the above photo, I got to watch the waste company arrive to pick up the construction dump bin.  I see these big bins all the time at construction sites but this the first time I got to watch one being loaded up to take it away.  This happens to be the same house I told you about back in March that has taken a whopping 6 years to complete.

To the left are the tree trimmers working on one of the many palm trees.

I loved the early morning shadows on the golf course. You can see that players were out for an early morning round of golf.

And finally, I was drawn by another pretty jacaranda tree.  Such pretty blooms!

  1. That gold course looks beautiful. The grass seems almost like a tapestry! Yes everybody has started to walk here too, we have to do some exercises when we do't want to end as fat pigs...:)

  2. Well if looks like the house might be on the home stretch Sharon, looking forward to seeing it finished. I wonder if your beloved Botanical gardens will open soon, I know how much you enjoy those early morning walks there 💙

  3. It is a lot colder here than normal for this time of year so early morning is cool! Only +1˚C here at 7 am. It is quiet at that early time of day.

  4. Construction bins are so BIG in America. Much bigger than British skips!

  5. Walking or working in the heat can make for a miserable day. I like the morning myself for the coolness too.

  8. It looks like the world is a little busier there now. Much as I love the desert I couldn't take your heat.

  9. Beautiful shot of the jacaranda. I'm not a morning person, but with the hot weather, I may have to make an adjustment!
