Phoenix Daily Photo Turns 10

Phoenix Daily Photo is ten years old today!  Imagine that!  I have enjoyed posting about my city and other incidental things so much that I think I'll continue doing it for another ten years!
I decided that for this momentous event, I should go back and see what I posted in those very first days.  After taking a look, I decided it was time to revisit some of those places and repeat the posts.  So, for the next two weeks, I'm going to try to reproduce those posts with brand new photos.

My very first post was a photo of the Arizona State Capitol building.  So, I recently took a Sunday drive over to the capitol complex to take some new photos.  This building hasn't change at all in the last 10 years.  In fact, it probably hasn't changed much in the last 50 years.

Those original photos I posted look so tiny compared to my larger photos today.

  1. Congratulations with the mile stone! I started mine in 2009 when I retired. also almost 10 years ago. I remember I have followed you before some time but you stopped at a moment to care for your mother? Than I lost you but found you again some time ago. I like blogging very much too, it makes you look at things in a different way and have contacts with people all over the world.
    Keep going!

  7. Happy anniversary! I like the plants out the front of the building, guess they are the best option for the dry climate and area?

  8. Congrats on your big decade milestone Sharon, that's pretty impressive. I enjoy seeing Phoenix and the surrounding areas, I've always love the desert part of the US but my wife hates the heat. :)

  11. Happy Blog Birthday! At first I thought the top photo was the old one and the bottom the new one -- I was like, "Wow! The landscaping is EXACTLY THE SAME!" And then I caught on.
