The Jacaranda trees are blooming around town right now. I love the look of these trees. I wish we had one street that was lined on both sides with these gorgeous trees so they would make a tunnel of purple this time of year.
Since we don't, I have to stop and photograph the ones I see. In this spot, there were two next to each other so those purple branches overlapped each other.
They are so wonderful, love that soft purple.
ReplyDeleteVery colorful.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Jacaranda trees here, they are beautiful !

Love.
ReplyDeleteI love jacarandas too. I don't see them in London, sadly, but I used to see them in Florida all the time. I believe Pretoria, in South Africa, is famous for having streets lined with jacarandas.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite trees, too. We don't have them here that I know of but when we lived in South Florida, I played the Jacaranda Golf Course, which was, naturally, filled with Jacaranda trees!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Gorgeous, Sharon! I've never seen one in bloom.
ReplyDeleteThey have very pretty blossoms!
ReplyDeleteToo gorgeous! They look wonderful alone and as you say en masse! Enjoyed your looking up at tall buildings around Phoenix yesterday also but I'm having quite a problem commenting on your blog Sharon, it takes four or five times before the 'comment' button clicks on. Wonder if it's just me or anyone else too?
ReplyDeletethey are one of my favorite trees, as well. Quite a mess on the ground they make. Of course, a purple/lavender colored ground is nice, but when trying to rake up....LOL
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, colorful trees, Sharon. I left Florida before they bloomed this year, There is always next year.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
