Another combined use building that I found in downtown Phoenix. Ground floor are businesses and upper floors are condominiums. Judging from the furniture on those upper floor patios, it looks like they are occupied.
I have a new post on
Sharon's Sojourns today. I made a discovery that proves my childhood has now become "vintage".
Nice looking place to live
ReplyDeleteA special combination in building style.
ReplyDeleteI like it, although it's not the kind of building I'd expect to find in Phoenix. In fact, when I saw the photoI, thought you were going to post something about London! :) I'll be this place requires a good deal of capital in order to live there.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lowell about the architecture. I would be very happy living in this building tho!
ReplyDeleteNot what I would expect to see in Phoenix. I like it.
ReplyDeleteIt's becoming a common trend here as well in new buildings. I like this one.
ReplyDeleteThe style is very appealing, I like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that is in Phoenix too, Sharon! I like it though.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good use for the building.
ReplyDeleteVery smart looking building Sharon, bet the apartments are pretty fabulous!
ReplyDeleteInteresting architecture. Is the bottom part older than the top part, do you think? Or was it all built at the same time?
ReplyDeleteThis place is a winner. A real winner. I like the mixed use idea, which is common in Europe but not common enough in the States.
