Winter in Phoenix

Al fresco dining in December.  I snapped this photo when I was out shopping last weekend.  This is why we put up with the searing hot temperatures in the summer.  The morning air is a bit nippy in the low 50's (12C) but by the afternoon we reach around 79 degrees or 26C.  It's just about perfect right now.  It's that fun time of year when we run our heaters on the drive to work and run the air conditioner on the drive home.

  5. Quite different from here!

We're in the minus teens today, and have had snow in the last thirty six hours.

  6. Sounds very comfortable. It's around 35F during the day and 17F at night. It doesn't really feel cold here because of where we came from. We lived in Alaska for 9 yrs where it gets really cold -40. I don't miss those days. :)

  8. I agree completely. Being outside all winter long in Naples is a real blessing.
