Yesterday's jolly buddha isn't the only one of those rotund little fellows I've found lately. Over in Paradise Valley, I found this smaller version who had a place of honor in a rather large rock garden in front of a home there.
As you can see, Mr. Buddha is joined by lots of other ceramic friends in this elaborate display.
I have a new post on
Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm visiting a rather unique tailor.
Smiling is contagious and resistance is futile.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to get a happy Buddha for my place! ;-))
ReplyDeleteHaha! He looks a little naked without sunglasses Sharon ☺
ReplyDeleteElephants and everything!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a display!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I wouldn't mind having one of those.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteA happy scene with all his friends makes this Buddha very happy. :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard if you rub their tummies they'll bring you luck.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great display of Buddhahood.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't think Buddha ever patronized whatever the Indian version of McDonald's was back in his day.
