At a Loss for Words

I'm having a hard time finding the words to express my grief over yesterday's tragic event.  The magnitude of loss is as overwhelming to me as the incomprehensible hate that generated it.  My heart is aching......once again.

Photo:  Some purple flowers I saw yesterday growing near the lagoon at Papago Park.

  2. Needless to say, I share your angst! And this hit way too close to home. I read this morning ISIS has targeted hundreds of "normal" citizens in the Palm Beach, Treasure Coast area. They got the names by hacking Twitter. What can we do about it?

  3. An absolutely terrible crime. My fear is how the vigilantes are grabbing this to stir up religious hatred. This was a crime committed by an American man who was able to buy weapons that no one on the planet needs ever, and then to vent his anger on a group of people he feels uncomfortable with. I fear the repercussions of this fuelled by the comments Trump is making.

  5. Me too Sharon. My daughter and two oldest grandchildren live in Orlando and I will be there next week. My son-in-law's office is not far from where it happened. It is devastating.

  6. One of my sons also lives in Orlando. I emailed his mother last night and told her I'd been thinking about him all day. Of course, he's a grown man of 53 now but I still think of him as my young son.

The news got even worse with Trump's mis-statements and slurs on our president.

  8. Yesterday and today makes me just squirm to be American. I kind of lose it in my Tuesday post on this subject.
