The state tree of Arizona is the Palo Verde tree and it's showing off all it's spring time beauty right now. Gorgeous yellow blooms are everywhere you look.
These trees grow in all parts of the Phoenix area so if you happen to be in the area, you can't miss them.
They start blooming in mid-to-late March and will continue through April. I love seeing them wherever I look.
It's a lovely sunny yellow flower. Really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you like them! So much color.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know this spectacular tree!
ReplyDeleteThey are nice. They remind me of tabebuia trees, which I used to see in Florida all the time.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteYellow is such a refreshing color - the color of new beginnings! Love that first photo...it looks like some giant lizard is tracking the flowers!
ReplyDeleteThe blossoms are so pretty and oh the yellow and blue!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful flower. Looks perfect under that clear Arizona sky.
