Rusty & Running
This old VW Bug looks a bit rusty and beat up but, it's still running and serving a purpose. I watched it drive up and park in the supermarket parking lot and couldn't resist a photo of it.
Rat look then, seems to be a popular look for cars

The color is perfect to dissimulate a bit of rust...

ReplyDeleteAs long as it gets its owner from A to B safely it's ok by me Sharon.. blimey it certainly knows how to stand out in a crowd with that colour :)

ReplyDeleteI had a green one, a 1960 model, I think. But we lived in Chicago and the car had no heater. Plus it wasn't beig enough for the four of us! :)
ReplyDeleteSomeone could make a lot of money if they rehabbed this. It's already been repainted once but it is in good physical shape.
ReplyDeleteAw! This reminds me of my red "Fu-fu" which was battered and beat-up when I finally let it go. I loved my car!
