I picked up a bouquet of flowers for my dining room table and when I saw this cute little bunny I thought he'd be perfect for the season so I got him too. He looks very cozy tucked into the flowers.
I'm not sure what kind of flower this is but I love the exotic look of it. Anyone out there know what it's called?
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday!
I have a new post on
Sharon's Sojourns today. I'm visiting a Farmer's Market, Italian style.
Exotic is the right description.
ReplyDeleteNot 100% sure but it might be a protea or a type of grevillea, looks very Australian :) Happy Easter Sharon.
ReplyDeleteAlmost alien...
ReplyDeleteIt does look alien, Sharon! Bunny looks great in there!
ReplyDeleteThose are protea, Sharon. You see miles of them in the Cape Town region of South Africa, all sorts of different kinds on large bushes taller than I am. Put a South African trip on your bucket list.
ReplyDeleteThe bunny is cute. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteVery unusual flowers. They look really nice. I wish you a Happy Easter as well!

As the others said, protea! I actually bought some here in London several years ago and posted about them:

They are really great flowers. I like the addition of the bunny. Very seasonal. :)
I think the bunny is happy with its new home among those glorious blossoms. Jack is right about South Aftrica; it's an amazing place.
