What a view

Yesterday I told you about staying at Julie and Dave's house because my electricity was out.  This was the view out my bedroom window when I woke up in the morning .  I took this shot with the telephoto lens right through the window.  Camelback Mountain is pretty rugged up there at the top but, it's also very picturesque.

  3. I'm not much of a hiker. I won't be going up Camelback Mountain anytime soon.

  7. Hard to believe that that view is in the middle of Phoenix. The morning light is just right.

  9. I'm waiting for the old Range Rider to come by that cactus riding on his horse. A favorite show in the early 50s.

  10. A lovely desert scene. I remember climbing part way up Camelback with Lois' grandmother who had to be near 70 at the time. She managed to stay quite a ways ahead of us and didn't want to quit!

  14. As I've said, I'd really like to see their new place. I look out my window and I see rain, every day, for weeks.
