On Friday, a weather front came roaring through the Phoenix area with thunder storms and lots of rain. The photo above was taken early in the morning when the front was moving in but, you can see that grey tint in the sky. It started to rain around 1:00 PM and rained most of the day after that.
On Saturday there was no more rain but we were left with those big puffy white clouds that I like so much.
By late afternoon, the clouds were thinning out as they made their way eastward toward New Mexico. I do love seeing the skies full of these gorgeous big clouds.
Breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. Love the clouds.

Ever shifting movement, the clouds do make for spectacular sights!
ReplyDeleteMother Nature can put on some great shows.
ReplyDeleteSuch clouds are a positive sign in Phoenix! Plus they are so good looking.
ReplyDeleteI take clouds for granted, I admit. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you enjoyed that rain as much as I did ours Sharon :) From your description here I think we may have had much longer periods of heavy rain. Gorgeous skies you have there as it clears up.. doesn't everything feel so lovely and fresh..
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for skies that are any color other than gray! It's literally been raining almost every day here since Dec. 26! Thank goodness I live on a hill! These photos make me miss the desert even more.
ReplyDeleteI love those clouds too! You found some pretty places to photograph them.
ReplyDeletei love that kind of cloud too, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how much that rain meant to you! And what lovely skies after the storm!
ReplyDeleteWe had rain early Saturday morning but it had stopped by 7 a.m. when our garage sale began. But chilly most of the day. Lots of lookers but very few buyers. SWMBO says: "Never again!"
ReplyDeleteI wish I could send you ours. We have them almost all the time!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty! I wish we could get some of that rain here.
ReplyDeleteLove that first shot. It's raining here again.
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to see what happens to the streets of Phoenix, Tucson or Las Vegas on a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteClouds seem to mesmerize lots of people. Did you ever lie on your back (as a kid) and make up stories about the clouds. Maybe we should continue this as adults, too
ReplyDeleteLovely skies! We've been getting hit and run rain here, or rain during the night.
