In spite of the rain this last weekend, I did manage to get a walk at the garden squeezed in and I'm very glad I did. There was lots to see (and photograph) like this gorgeous pink cactus bloom. Isn't that a beauty?
These tiny baby quail were following along behind their mother but every now and then they would straggle behind. They are such cute little fuzzy creatures. Don't you think that one in the middle has awfully big feet?
This cactus created its own bouquet of gorgeous blooms. What an amazing sight to see all these blooms on one cactus. There was a lot to enjoy before the rain started.
Three beautiful images, Sharon !
ReplyDeleteThe first is fantastic and the second very cute !
Wonderful collection of cheerful photos!
ReplyDeleteNice flower macro that first photo.
ReplyDeleteAll your flower photos are stunning, and I especially like the cacti blooms on the various plants.
ReplyDeleteGreat spring shots! I don't think I've ever seen a baby quail. So cute!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, you found some wonderful things to photograph!
ReplyDeleteThe cactus blooms are totally spectacular Sharon, what a gorgeous first shot and the baby quails are so sweet, big feet and all :)
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful but I love the wee quails, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThe first flower is a standout beauty while the cactus is so special. I live those fuzzy lil ones.
ReplyDelete*love. Sorry typo error.
ReplyDeleteWhat delicious photos! Wow!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: The tourney came off without a hitch. It was hot as we didn't start 'til early afternoon but I didn't see any drunks (with a couple of exceptions) and there weren't any problems. It was fun.
I love all three photos, they are so cute and the pink bloom is gorgeous but I think my favourite is the last one because I love your angle!
ReplyDeleteThe cacti blooms certainly stand out. The little ones are cute.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms and the baby quail are just adorable. I'm sure the middle one will grow into those feet!
ReplyDeleteOh, the wonders and beauties of nature. You've captured some splendid ones here.
ReplyDeleteThe baby quails are too cute. We had a big thunderstorm last night. It kept me up for hours.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous!
