Sometimes you can find art in the strangest places!
Such as in the front yard of this modest home with the scraggly yard. It does make me wonder what it is doing there and why the red head. Art is supposed to make you think and this one sure did that.
Odd it is. Japanese maybe?
ReplyDeleteIt's odd, but also really interesting to see.

It's odd to see, but I think this artwork is not finished yet...
ReplyDeleteIt seems a bit out of place! Certainly makes your imagination get up and go to work.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing find. Perhaps it's a replica of the head of the owner. Or perhaps the owner got so excited about the house he just lost his head? More than likely, the folks that live there needed some notoriety.
ReplyDeleteThe ultimate in 'ginger-head'.

ReplyDeleteStrange and slightly disturbing. You just never know what you will see when you are looking around town.
ReplyDeleteOh, and there didn't seem to be a trail to that cave at the canyon. I don't think it's where the bats live, that cave is way west of this one.
ReplyDeleteI bet the artist lives there, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteQuite unusual!
ReplyDeleteSo many questions, so little answers. It's quite striking... and would be stolen in a jiffy here...
ReplyDeleteThat is quite odd...
ReplyDeleteVery odd.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it was on the Art Detour tour.
ReplyDeleteAn artist inside?
ReplyDeleteInteresting!!
ReplyDeleteI like the yard. If I had a yard, it would look like that.
(Actually, I suppose I do have a yard, but Dave maintains it, so that doesn't count. :) )
ReplyDeleteBeen in the sun too long ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think it is a very startling sculpture for that particular home.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely art not craft Sharon, a talking point for sure :)
ReplyDeleteThis is remarkable. It is quite good. You have some detective work needed.
